Change.org Face of Fair Trade

MamaShayna’s Musings is often a mish-mash of information, inspiration, and introspection.  Though my motivation for MamaShayna hopefully peaks through from time to time, it is particularly well-represented today on the change.org Fair Trade blog, where I’ve been added to the ‘Faces of Fair Trade’ series.  You can read the interview by clicking here.

Something that bothers me alot is that our large grocery chain, Dominicks’, has not Fair Trade choices in coffee. What can I do? I usually buy my coffee at Costco since they carry Fair Trade.

Oh, that’s a great question! You can talk to the cashiers and/or store managers next time that you are in the store, or simply fill out a customer comment card. This goes a LONG way. I’ll also link you up with the director of Chicago Fair Trade, Nancy Jones, who will be able to give you more information on Dominicks locally.
    Love you!

The fair trade blog at change.org has been suspended, but we’ll be blogging away soon enough at http://www.ftrn.org. Stay tuned!
